You start wondering what has happened to the tragic figure of Hodor. And then through the incredible prose, you realize that you are Hodor - and Hodor is you. We are all Hodors waiting to burst forth. This book is no work of fiction, it is a national treasure.

At first blush you may think HODOR to be a shallow and simple minded man. You may question his writing ability and expect this book to be a slow and simple read. Well you would be wrong! Let me tell you something. Each page is an explosion of harrowing experiences and you’ll witness his resourcefulness to win the day. You simply will not be able to put this book down!This book is a miracle of hope. It literally took my breath away. It left me speechless time and time again. I was glued to this book and found myself wiping tears from my eyes.I had no idea what I was getting into when I decided to crack the cover of this book but I am SO glad I did! I am reading it for the third time now and intend on reading it again soon! This experience has lead me to intense self analysis and has helped me psychologically diagnose myself and figure out some gritty truths that professionals were unable to unravel for me. All I know is that it is greatly helping me to identify personal issues I have carried with me my entire life. I don't want to take away from the tragic and compelling events of Hodor's life, but I found it hard to get into the flow of his life story. There are a few great moments, but there were a lot times where I felt like he was getting repetitive harping on the same point over and over again. As someone who had access to the greatest maesters in the realm as teachers, I just expected a bit more literary prowess.When I think of other autobiographies by well known figures like Groot's "Who is Groot?" and Pikachu's "A Peek Into the Pokeball" I can't help but feel that there are better ways to spend my valuable reading time.

An emotional roller coaster from start to finish. You'll laugh, you'll cry, you'll grab a snack. I couldn't have felt more in this man's life even if Bran had a GoPro strapped to his head. And I don't want to give anything away, but the part where he says 'Hodor' gave me chills.

This book was a total page turner from the beginning. I had had crippling depression, and was on the verge of committing suicide. This book was so good, that it felt as if Hodor himself jumped out of the book, and took the gun from my hand. He then proceeded to penetrate me. I didn't know I could like a man like that.

So enchanting I’ve returned my cable box. If you haven’t read this, put on a pot of coffee and enjoy the ride. I really hope he continues to delve into a literary mindset. So many chills!

Some people say that their happiest moments in life are the birth of their child or their wedding day. They have not read this book. Once you open this book you will be engulfed such a raw force of power and affection that you will sense emotions that you have never experienced before. Food will begin to taste better, colors will become more vibrant. You will become the happiest version of yourself that you have ever been, all thanks to Hodor.Personally, being selfish I can’t wait for the audiobook narrated by Morgan Freeman to come out in the fall of 2020! Having Morgan tell the tale of the great Hodor will be the most exquisite masterpiece the world has ever known.

Highly recommend for every single GOT fan out there. You'll wish you had read this masterpiece sooner. My favorite is chapter 4.

For a hunter, this is a must have atlas. It shows most logging roads, and it can get you back home when your GPS isn't working.

Used my new atlas yesterday and found the info for small, back roads very good. It's hard to tell in Lane County, OR where a road might lead to on not. So far the info is accurate. Looking forward to my next, off the main road, trip.

Good maps showing a lot of forest service roads. Downside is that there isn't a detailed map of the Portland, Salem or Eugene metro areas. Even with cell phones and GPS it's nice to have paper maps.

Had a version back in 2000.. Time for an upgrade!This version is very nice and is obviously updated well from the 2000 one..Despite GPS and Cell phones.. it's nice to have a map!

We travel the back roads a lot and use the maps constantly. There are not too many times that a rogue road appears that is not on the map. A must-have for the trips to the boonies!

Order arrived in a timely manner, this was purchased as a Father's Day gift to replace an old outdated version.

Poor detail of areas!RETURNED

I appreciate the clear explanations about the importance of vitamins and certain supplements. I am also learning about important ingredients that should be in the body creams and moisturizers that I use that will not only rejuvenate my skin outwardly but make it healthier from underneath, where it really counts.

I haven't finished reading the book yet but so far the suggestions Perriicone gives make sense. I used to eat Macrobiotic for 2 years and I was a lot more healthy than I am today (got married and hubby is a fast food junkie lol). The bad side is that I lost around 20 pounds (even though I was already skinny) all of a sudden and I ended up with smile lines ..and I'm in my 20s -_-So now I'm looking for a cure for smile lines. I bought the Dermae Firming DMAE moisturizer that Perriicone suggests in the book but I had an awful experience (my skin was sagging the next day instead of being firmer!). Who knows maybe it's just my type of skin that had that reaction. Hopefully by the time I reach the end of the book, Perricone mentions other facial creams that might help me. If anyone has had good results with firming skin lotions please let me know! It would be greatly appreciated!

PBS ran a NV Perricone speaing to Yale special, and it captured my attention because he was saying the reason we are tired all the time (and I had been having a lot of trouble with this recently) is diet/inflammation. My ears perked right up and, like the hostess who interviewed him at the breaks, I tried his 3-day diet and found such a tremendous difference in my energy level I had to have the book to get more. In real-life, he is pretty nearly the lone source for much of what he recommends, and his prices are high, but it's definitely a boon to tired boomers!

Although I was initially skeptical, I can say that finally, finally, I found something that gets results. The suggestions listed here work - and even better, they work even if you don't follow EVERY single step. Drink more water, take the vitamins, use the products and you'll see a difference. Do more and I assume the results will be better. But even if you don't see a remarkable difference in your skin (although I think you will) in a few days or, at most, a few weeks...and decide you still want plastic surgery, you should still have this book. Why? Because you will be going into the operation with the BEST skin of your life and be prepared to have the BEST results. So,either way, this book is a must-have.

This is a great book. It is easy to read, very informative, and the "cures" (at least the ones that I've tried) actually work. It contains information about the strengths and weakenesses of various types of skin, and how antioxidants can help. The author also gives the names of some skin care products that include antioxiodants. Okay, so he also recommends his own products in that list. I'm not offended by the self promotion. However, I did visit the author's web site and found the prices for his products to be very high. Later, I surfed the web, found a few web sites about making your own face creams and lotions, and tried adding the antioxidants to these concoctions. I experienced visible improvement of my skin after only a few days. My experience with my home made antioxidant face cream is consistent with the results the author describes in his book. So, from this perspective I say the theory behind the book is sound, and I highly recommend the book to others.

Hard to follow and read, at least after we had used Lonely Planet and Rough guides. Bought this one because it was supposed to be the most current one out there, but was disappointed re coverage, organization of information, and just general usability.

Lots to do in this small country, very helpful to educate ones self before the big trip over there. On the euro, but on the boarder of western and eastern Europe.

In addition to his creative involvement with over twenty television series and over ten motion pictures, Stern worked with Jackie Gleason in New York writing the Honeymooners. He also wrote for the Phil Silvers Show, The Steve Allen Show, and wrote and produced the original Get Smart television series. As a very active reader, my daughter goes through books over and over. This was a fun way for her to ready by to change it each time as we’d jusf write the answers ona separate sheet of paper so she had more uses. She thinks she is hysterical and also learning parts of speech; win win for a first grader :)
